Toast your graduation success in style at Bournemouth’s Arbor Restaurant

Calling Bournemouth University’s Graduation Class of 2015! You have until midnight this coming Sunday (11October) to register for your graduation award ceremony and get your places booked for this year’s event at the Bournemouth International Centre(BIC). The next job will be sorting somewhere for you and your nearest and dearest to eat, drink and toast your success.

The Green House Hotel, Bournemouth’s eco-friendly luxury boutique hotel, is located just a stone’s throw from the BIC. It is home to Arbor Restaurant, one of the newest 2AA Rosette Restaurants in Bournemouth, and a finalist in the Dorset Tourism Awards Eating Out category for the third year running. So there really is no finer place in Bournemouth to celebrate your graduation with the family.

The ceremonies take place 3-6 November and as usual Bournemouth will be a buzz with BFFs catching up after a six month separation. Excited much! Naturally you will want it to be special. After all, you’ve put in the hard work and it’s paid off. So before you hit the bars, make sure you and your family enjoy some sit-down time and a delicious lunch or dinner.

The Green House Hotel has been in the news several times this year, even gaining the title The Greenest Hotel in Britain, because of our sustainableand ethical sourcing practices and our environmentally-friendly approach. So if youwant a venue that will put strong values as well as va-va-voom into your graduation celebration, look no further.

At the Green House Hotel, Bournemouth University graduation menus feature a huge range of organic, ethically sourced food and wine, without stinting on luxury. So while you may want to splash the parental cash on a special bottle of Dom Perignon to get things off with a bang, you might also want to choose a delicate, well balanced organic Prosecco from Veneto, Italy (for a quarter of the price). Or, if you really want to save on the food miles and support local Dorset producers, why not choose a bottle of English Oak Chinkapin Rose fizz, which is transported to the Green House by electric vehicles from this excellent Poole vineyard.

As the newest 2 AA Rosette Restaurant in Bournemouth, there’s no finer place to celebrate with all the family. Head Chef Andy Hilton cooks honest, uncomplicated but imaginative food, sourcing classic and new ingredients straight from the farm gate and fresh off the trawlers, putting his own contemporary twist on classic dishes.

As ever, we will be offering BU’s brightest and best our full A La Carte Menu, which will be available all day. There’s something for everyone on our winter menu from hearty, tender venison loin to a super healthy, subtly spiced Tandoori Red Pepper Quinoa.

We’re also reprising one of our favourite starters from last winter, a Salad of Beetroot and Pumpkin topped with a crispy hen’s egg, which can also be ordered as a main course.

For graduates coming from further afield, the GreenHouse Hotel has a range of room categories to suit every budget, allowing you to extend your celebrations right through to the morning after, with a slap-up New Forest breakfast. Our small double rooms are beautifully furnished with a double bed (4ft6). All have a 32” LED flat screen TV, Bose sound dock, luxurious goose down duvets and crisp white organic bed linen. The bathrooms have natural stone basins, walk in showers and luxury toiletries.
