Countdown to Christmas at the Green House Hotel

Everyone knows when the countdown to Christmas officially begins. Though we resolve to ignore the in-store Christmas decorations at least until Bonfire Night is out of the way, we all know that a certain televisual event is what really declares open season on yuletide planning.

You know something has become a national institution when our broadsheet newspapers are running countdowns: “Just 7 days, 22 hours, 37 minutes and 26-25-24 (etc) seconds to go until the John Lewis advert is unveiled and the Countdown to Christmas begins in earnest” according to the Daily Telegraph website this morning. (It first airs at 8am on Friday, November 6, in case you can’t be bothered to do the maths).

Here at the Green House Hotel, Bournemouth’s most eco-friendly luxury boutique hotel, we adore Christmas: throughout December our beautiful Victorian villa is dressed impeccably (and sustainably, as you’d expect of the Greenest Hotel in Britain,) and thrown open for nightly luxury Christmas parties.

Our produce is painstakingly sourced from small, usually local, suppliers guaranteeing daily deliveries of the very best meat, fish, vegetables and dairy products. We also get the pick of the country’s fish and shellfish – as long as it’s responsibly fished. We love our artisan suppliers and get a buzz out of finding new specialist providers to work with who meet our standards for ethically and sustainably produced food.

If your party is 50 – 70, then we can cater for your event exclusively. Exclusive use is available on any day of the week. If your party is smaller and you wish to join up with another party we have joiner nights available, which are always huge fun.

Sip an aperitif in our chic, cosy bar before going through to our stunningly decorated dining room for three Christmas courses plus coffee and mince-pie (homemade of course!) – at £29.00 per person to include novelties ( £32.00 per person with a disco).
