Here at the Green House, Bournemouth’s most environmentally-friendly boutique hotel, we’re busy planning ahead for our Christmas 2015 party season.

We can cater for larger parties exclusively, or you can hop on board for one of the Green House Hotel’s famous party nights for smaller groups. Whichever, we’re here to take the stress out of planning your celebrations!

Just as you’d expect from the greenest hotel in Britain, here at the Green House Hotel Christmas is all about making memories, not landfill. As with everything we do, we’ve put a lot of thought into how we can make our Christmas events as sustainable and ethical as possible, without losing one ounce of the magic and sparkle.

For example, we replant our Christmas trees at the end of the season and re-use them the following Christmas. And we keep the food miles to a minimum by sourcing the ingredients for our Christmas menus locally and seasonally wherever possible – meaning fresh, wholesome, quality food that doesn’t cost the earth.

Arbor, Bournemouth’s 2 AA-rosette restaurant and winner of a Gold Trophy in the 2015 Dorset Tourism Awards, will be serving Christmas lunch throughout December.

With the maximum three star rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association, Arbor’s menu is sourced from small local suppliers in Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire, guaranteeing daily deliveries of the very best poultry, vegetables and dairy products from within a 50 mile radius. We also get the pick of the country’s fish and shellfish – as long as it’s responsibly fished. We love our artisan suppliers and get a buzz out of finding new specialist providers to work with.

2015’s delicious and ethically-sourced four-course Christmas menu will feature old favourites such as Norfolk Black Turkey and Stoke’s Marsh beef from Walter Rose & Son, as well as the freshest South Coast fish and shellfish and vegetarian options too. Plus of course there’s the Green House’s home-made Christmas pudding with brandy custard as well as coffee and homemade mince pies to fit in.  All for £29 per person, including novelties.

If your party is between 50 and 70 people, we can cater for your event exclusively if desired – exclusive use is available on any day of the week. For just an extra £3 per person we can also include a disco so you can really let your hair down (without letting the planet down too!).

If your party is smaller we have joiner nights available – just ask.
