Following January’s popular Luncheon Club event with Heather Hartwell of Bournemouth University speaking on how healthy food can also be delicious, we’re now looking forward to March’s lunch, where we will have a guest speaker from Farrow & Ball.
Based in Wimborne, Dorset, since 1946, Farrow & Ball supplies the highest quality wallcoverings and paints in beautiful and colours and designs, and we will be learning from the speaker about the impact of colour in our lives. The company is local, luxurious and eco-friendly – remind you of anyone?! We’re sure we’ll have lots to talk about. And there’s even talk of some prizes to be given away…
On top of this, the event will include a healthy and delicious three-course lunch plus tea or coffee, and a glass of wine. We’re still celebrating recent accolades, including taking home a Silver in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards, and the Arbor, our two AA-rosette restaurant, being recognised as the most environmentally-friendly eaterie in the UK at the 2015 Sustainable Restaurant Association awards.
On offer we’ll have starters like Chicken Terrine with Chargrilled Asparagus and Leek Puree, and main courses like Seabass with Lemongrass Emulsion, Fennel and Saffron Potatoes – not to mention the dessert of Caramelised Banana with Mascarpone Cream and Peanut Butter Ice-cream. Truly, it’s a lunch not to be missed.
The Luncheon Club event is priced at £25 per person and takes place on Thursday 19th March at 12.00, but we anticipate a lot of interest, so we ask that you please book by Tuesday 10th March.
