The great thing about holding your festive celebration at the Green House is that you can spoil your highly-deserving employees without spoiling anything else. Sometimes called the greenest hotel in Britain, our seasonal menus are almost entirely sourced from small local suppliers in neighbouring counties, guaranteeing daily deliveries of the very best and freshest poultry, vegetables and dairy products. We also get the pick of the South Coast’s fish and shellfish – as long as it’s responsibly fished. We love our artisan suppliers and get a buzz out of finding new specialist providers to work with.
Our Christmas menu is chock full of superb, hearty flavours and some of the finest produce to be found anywhere, from free-range Norfolk Black Turkey and Roast Sirloin of Beef with Madeira Gravy, to super-fresh, South Coast Sea Bass with a very special White Wine Crayfish Sauce. Veggies and flexitarians, meanwhile, can savour our immense New Forest Wild Mushroom Tart. For afters, there is, of course, the Green House’s legendary Christmas Pudding, homemade to a secret recipe, with Brandy Custard, a luxurious Dark Chocolate Brownie with homemade White Chocolate Ice Cream or a simple but spectacular Pear & Almond Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream.
Prefer an evening do? After an aperitif or cocktail in our chic, cosy bar, you can choose to join one of our lavish party nights in the stylish, relaxing ambience of Arbor’s bistro-style dining room or, for bigger parties of between 50 and 70, we can cater for your event exclusively. Prices are from £29 per person, including 3 course meal, coffee and novelties.
For Christmas lunch, meanwhile, prices start from £22.50 per person, including a three course menu, coffee and novelties.
For parties of 40 and over, we can cater for your event exclusively with our Christmas Fizz and Flavours event. This option is ideal for those who like to celebrate but without the traditional fuss! Choose from taste sensations including Smoked Duck and Cranberry Spring Rolls, Dorset Blue Vinney cheese and Grape Filo Pockets, or freshly made, still warm Sage and Onion Scones with a Roast Chicken Rillette. Prices from £18 per person.
There’s also a slightly more traditional Christmas party Buffet option available for groups of 25 upwards on request with slightly more familiar winter dishes, both hot and cold, to choose from. Prices from £18.50 per person.

Seriously. Indeed. We select only suppliers who put quality above quantity, and source their tea ethically and sustainably.
